My iPhone 3Gs

After so many years of using an ordinary mobile phone and I have decided to buy myself a new phone. Sigh... The story was actually like this... I accidentally poured water into my apron while serving the customers, after about 5 minutes I only realised I had my Nokia phone inside the apron... *Sighs*... it was too late to rescue my phone at that time, and it was a busy arvo as well, I have no time to dry it so I just put it on the table. After work, I tried to switch it on but it didn't work... Well, it is all right, I'm quite happy though because I've just got myself an iPhone 3GS! Awesome! cus I can online at anytime and anywhere -fb-ing, check mails, Msn, weather, games, television shows, Youtube, MUSIC - IPOD has incredible features for music fan like me, especially the map (gps) very important in Aus as well (:

I chose the 16GB iPhone 3Gs (White) ^^ and I reckon this will be enough to store all my pictures, music, contact lists and so forth. Unfortunately, I've lost all my friends' details and numbers, if u should called, I might need to update your particulars... Just bare with me if I should ask who is calling! :P

It's Thursday and I am sitting in my room studying and finishing up assignments because it is that time of the year! This is always the busiest time of the Spring semester, which is not fun at all!

On a more positive note, I'm going to travel in this summer holidays! I'm so excited to be finished all my assignments and start working fulltime during summer holidays! (: woohooo!

Part time job!

I went for a part time job interview this arvo, guess what?

Lol, i got the job with freaking good pay! Thank God!!

This sem is gonna be very busy, uni, assignments, work, life group, church and socialising! Lol. Just so u guys know, AUD is increasing and this is fun because i'm earning now... but doesn't sound good to mum because she has to pay for my tuition fees. Sigh! I started thinking about how all the little costs in my life add up, and how it would be great to either lower or remove those costs. I'm talking about my expenses in aussie like phone bill, rent, electricity bill, gas bill, Internet bill, transportation (bus tics) great! since i don't hv a car here, food, snacks, cosmetic, clothes and socialising. Ohh gosh all those expenses add up, i could potentially save so much money if they didn't exist. However, there was no way i could completely eradicate those costs because i need to pay my rent EVERY fortnight, pay all those freaking bills every three months and phone bill, my phone is my life! I suppose i could cut back on socialising, buying clothes, shoes or whatever, but i honestly believe that i need to socialise actively and regularly uphold a balanced lifestyle, and i need to look good for that by wearing nice clothes, shoes and put on make up... good excuse, huh! Ok forget about it! So, i will start working on this friday. I was thinking after i get my first salary, i don't want to spend it and i wana save all my money for summer shopping and maybe go travel to some places around Australia! Sounds awesome right?

The reason i work because i need money, i need to support my living expenses here and hopefully i could save up some money for my fees so my parents don't hv to pay so much by using RM. How sad! I wana buy some gift for my little brother, i miss him heaps!! I wana work super hard! There are so many things i wana buy, i wana save all my money for my summer shopping because i love beach and i wanna hit the beach this summer, i wana buy bikini, skirts and dresses!!! I thank GOD that i found this job with freaking good pay. I never thought that i would get such a good pay as a waitress. Boss is good and i'm looking forward to work with him and the team on this friday!

Tomorrow is Wednesday! Whoo hoo i love Leanne's class! She is one of my fav lecturer for my course subjects! Tomorrow i'm going to hv lunch and some catch up with Michele at uni cafe. God bless my day and HE bless you too!

Stamina

Today is Saturday. Well, i've been so busy these days with my two research works and some reports but i like it! Just because i like to keep myself very very busy and use my time more efficiently on studies and i just feel so gooooood!

Anyways, I just came back from an evening jog at torrens river with my cool brothers melvin (m'sia), dan (chinese aussie) and ki hoon (cool korean).

Sigh... I'm actually kinda sad (VERY) now and dead tired too =(

because i realised that my stamina is getting weaker and weaker compared to the time when i was in Malaysia. I used to have a good stamina in sports especially swimming, jogging, hiking, and squash. But now... I was really surprised at my stamina... what happened just now was i couldn't jog for just 40minutes. I couldn't breathe, i was dizzy and i felt like throw out too. This is so not me! How sad =(

And i'm actually thinking of starting to jog again. I haven't jog for at least two months... i guess... and i could sense a huge decrease in my running stamina and energy levels as well. In this situation, i've decided to do something about it, i will start my simple stamina training tomorrow and hope to get it back in 3 months time!!!

Well, im going out for dinner now, enjoy ur sunday, live healthy and be strong!

Hello!

Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful winter break!

It is like a blink of an eye that i can't believe that my first sem in second year had already done. Now, my new semester as a second year PR student has officially started today. Thank God that i've got a good results for the previous semester, awesome, especially God's hand in everything!

My schedule for this semester is awesome and i've arranged it in such a way that i have four days uni week, classes from monday to thursday only. (=

Well, i will stop here because i'm abit tired and going to bed... now!

Haigh’s Chocolate Tour

Few weeks ago, i received an email from my classmate, Megan. She told me there's a Haigh's chocolate tour (Free) and invited me to go with her (=.

So, on that day, i took a trip down to city and took tram to the Haigh's chocolate visitor centre. But when think about of quality of chocolates, most people will think of some European names especially chocolate from Germany. But South Australia proudly has its own chocolate -Haigh's! The tour is quite informative in explaining how chocolate is made. The most unique thing about this Haigh's chocolate is they actually do not sell their products in supermarket. You cannot buy any Haigh's chocolate in supermarket. They have their own unique Haigh's chocolate stores which you can buy it from there. All their products are made here and they only import the raw cocoa beans and do the roasting and crushing themselves. They control the chocolate making process from beginning to end to ensure the best quality. In the beginning of the tour, you get to try some sample of Haigh's milk chocolates and dark chocolates. You also have the chance to buy more Haigh's products in their store just right in front of the factory!

Unfortunately they would not let us to take pictures of the factory so i only took pictures during the tea break session.

Vanessa invited me and my housemates to a cross-cultural party at the 5 Jackson's house last night. Everybody dressed nicely and enjoyed a night full of heaps good food such as the south african food and dessert, the aussie pizza, soft drinks, chocolate and our Malaysian chicken curry because we (2 of us) were the only malaysians at the party. I really enjoyed it because i get to know heaps of friends from different countries and the best thing was i get to try new food! haha! See, I'm such a happy birdie~lol

I'm sorry for the late wishes to my blog... been really busy with tons of assignments lately...

I can't believe it's been a year since I started this blog and can't imagine that one year just flew past so damn fast, so many things happened when i look back through all the entries, I realised what a collection of resources i've built up. It certainly has been an interesting journey, the collaborative aspects of blogging are certainly greater than i expected.

HDs!!

After i checked my results, guess what???!!

All my hard work paid off and I got 3 HDs for my professional majors PR and marketing assignments!!! I'm so so SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO happy!!!! I can't sleep now!! haha.... HDs makes me wayyy too happy!

Night rain in winter

OMG, I have never heard rain this heavy in Adelaide before! Yeah... don't think I've ever heard it that loud here before... it's now booming and raining. Geezzz! It's frickin' freezing in Adelaide... I hate cold weather because it dries out my skin. Living in cold weather like during the winter in Australia, u need food, warm clothing, heater and lotion to survive, yes, no kidding! A good bottle of lotion to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized is a must! I apply lotion on my hands and legs after i shower and before i go to bed. I always put a mini bottle of lotion in my bag, just in case i need it! I have so many stuffs in my bag, no questions asked, i just NEED it! This is my habit since i was small... i reckon i feel more secure with it>.< ♥ a bottle of water, gums/ lollies, mini bottle of lotion, mini make-up case, cotton buds, pads or tampons, perfume, lip balm/ gloss, comb, mini mirror, camera, mini notebook (great for waiting bus or for appoinments, kill time), novel, colorful pens (write my thoughts of the day), keys, mobile phone, tissues, hand sanitizer gel, gloves and credit card! I guess thats it... especially lotion, its a must because my skin gets really dry in the cold =(

my bag is always heavy but im used to the weight of my bag, thats just me, Amanda C (=

I can't stand the cold breeze touching my skin and face. It makes me shiver and it affects my mood making me LAZY taking a bath, cook my dinner cus afraid of touching the icy cold tap water! I had to wear my PJs almost the whole day because i feel cold. I even sleep with my sweater on and still under a thick quilt. I also had socks on so cold won't get onto my feet. My housemates said this year is the coldest. The weather was so bitterly cold and it didn't piss me off it just makes me lazy and i just want to hibernate all winter, no assignments no exams no uni. Sounds great huh?!

It's 7c and still raining... im off to bed now, good night!
